Fellowships

The NW Center offers two Fellowships in health services research.

The PhD Fellowship is directed toward increasing skills in health services research. Fellows are expected to engage in full-time research on a publishable health services project, participate in related educational activities including selected course work at the University of Washington (UW), and participate in VA research review meetings.

The MD Fellowship is for physicians who have completed residency training and focuses on preparing physicians for successful careers in academic medicine as independent researchers and trains physicians pursuing a wide variety of research and clinical interests, including General Internal Medicine and its specialties. The program operates in conjunction with the University of Washington (UW) Division of General Internal Medicine and the UW Department of Health Services.
